I don't necessarily think the story is important for Canadians to know, because nothing happened in John's case that made Canada change. My life is pretty much the same as it was before we read Sgt. John Wilson. It is definitely a very scandalous and interesting story to know, but not important to know in the history of Canada.
It's not really incredibly historically relevant to all of Canada. Only to Saskatchewan at the most. I mean, the story of the murder is one of those scandalous stories that hold people's attention for a minute, and then it's on to the next big thing. It's not that relevant.
I don't think the story is important for Canadians to know because our doesn't affect them in any way. The story is very interesting and Intriguing but doesn't change anything that happened in Canadian history. This story does sure would have changed the lives of the families included in this case but it doesn't necessarily change my life in any way.
I don't believe that the story had any significance to change the history of Canada. The story is very intriguing and scandalous, however, you hear stories such as this basically all the time now. It made no change in my life, except some history of Saskatchewan.
I don't think the story of John and Polly Wilson is important for Canadian's to know. I say this because the story does not affect Canadian's nowadays, and had no major impact on the development of our country. It is a very interesting story, but it doesn't have didn't effect our Canadian history.
