I think Polly isn't saying anything to her family about her suspicions because she doesn't feel the need to. She feels like her life with John in Canada is as great as it was in Scotland.I think she's not doing the right thing at all. By not telling anyone about her suspicions, she is putting herself in some kind of danger. I just have a gut feeling.
I think Polly isn't saying anything because she doesn't want it to be true and she doesn't want to be judged by her family. I think Polly just thinks that she is being paranoid and is pushing this idea away. I think Polly is not doing the right thing because by not saying anything to anyone is just making the problem worse. Polly and John have been together for a long time so it's understandable that she stays quiet about her suspicions. They have two kids together, it would just break her heart if she found out that her suspicions were right.
I think Polly isn't sayin anything about John to her family because if she mentions something, then that would make her suspicions more real. She doesn't want it to be real. So she acts like its no big deal. I don't think she is doing the right thing because keeping everything inside means that she has to do everything herself and she will have no support system behind her if it turns out true because nobody has an idea of what is happening.
I think Polly is remaining quiet to her family about her suspicions about John because she isn't completely sure if she is right or if she is just paranoid. And also I believe she is worried about how her family will react. I think she should confront John about her suspicions before she tells anyone else in case it is not true. But I think she should still keep in contact with her family so she has support and someone else to turn to if the suspicions end up being true.
I believe that Polly isn't telling her family her suspicions about John because she doesn't want to disappoint them. She was SO excited to go to Canada and be with John again, but now she sees that he is a different man and her excitement is gone. She doesn't want her family to know this, because she knows they would be angry at John. I also think that she wants to ignore her suspicions because she wants her and John to be happy. No I do not think she is doing the right thing. You should always be truthful to your family, and in turn they can help you out because they care for you and want the best for you. Polly needs her families support, therefor I think she should tell them about her suspicions.
Polly isn't saying anything because she's embarrassed, and doesn't want to be wrong, or really admit that there could be something wrong. She doesn't want to disappoint anyone. I think that she's neither doing the right, nor the wrong thing. It is a gray area, because she's putting herself in danger, but she's also giving him the benefit of the doubt, and trying to be a good person, a good wife.
